compete in her first ballroom competition this fall. Lilly feels like dance is the only place where she can truly be herself.
She loves meeting fellow dancers, and many have helped her with advice and encouragement. She feels most understood within the dance community. Lilly has learned that when she masters a skill, there's always another to move on to. She never stops pushing herself to improve. Lilly loves expressing herself through movement and music, and her favorite part is acting out a story without ever saying a word.
Her favorite genres of dance are ballroom and jazz. She thinks they are very similar, except that ballroom involves a partner. She likes dancing to music that makes others get up and dance. She wants her audience to have as much fun as she does when she is performing. Because of Lilly's love of partner dancing and ballroom, she dreams of being on 'Dancing with the Stars' one day. Until then, she intends to work hard and stay humble.
